I know it seems completely strange to mix cottage cheese with oats but hear me out. Not only is cottage cheese a very mild flavor that lends itself perfectly to cookie dough, but it&rsquo;s also super high in protein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As someone who strives to get enough protein in everyday I love that I can make my oatmeal more filling simply by using this hack. Don&rsquo;t believe me? You can reduce this if you like your cookie dough overnight oats less sweet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vanilla almond milk<\/strong> &ndash; or another plant-based or non-dairy milk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cottage cheese <\/strong>&ndash; cottage cheese is shockingly good in overnight oats. You can grab any kind you can find though my preference is for full fat with small curd.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vanilla extract <\/strong>&ndash; don&rsquo;t skip this! Simply mix everything in a large container or mason jar and let it sit overnight in the fridge (or for at least an 8 hours). Simply store in single servings (mason jars are great!) and then let them thaw overnight in the fridge. They&rsquo;ll be ready for you in the morning!
